REFUND POLICY
All tickets bought from City of Edinburgh Tours, either online, through a third party or at our ticket office are non-refundable. Only in exceptional circumstances will we consider issuing a refund, for example if a tour is cancelled. To claim a refund, you must contact City of Edinburgh Tours with a full explanation and the details of the tour which you wish to be reimbursed for, City of Edinburgh Tours will consider each case on an individual basis.
PRIVACY
City of Edinburgh Tours will never sell your personal information to any third party. We reserve the right to use data given to us for marketing and research purposes.
HEALTH AND SAFETY
Our guides are very experienced in looking after each one of our visitors and are required to warn you of any possible risks. All tour participants are responsible for their own safety and well-being throughout each tour. We ask that you pay attention when crossing roads and that you do so with your own personal safety in mind. Due to the historic nature of the underground, we ask you to be aware of any dangers, such as uneven and wet floor, low ceilings and the entrance/exit staircase. On entering and exiting underground, please use banisters for your own safety.
CHANGES TO A TOUR
City of Edinburgh Tours reserves the right to make changes to any tour, or part of a tour, should circumstances beyond our control dictate. We will contact you if there are any major changes to a tour and will offer you the option of either switching to another date or tour, or of receiving a full refund. In the event of any last minute changes, such as road closures or none inclusion of advertised section, we will let you know at the start of the tour.
WEATHER CONDITIONS
Our tours take place irrespective of weather conditions. We go rain, shine and especially thick, thick, fog and snow. Please ensure that every member of your party is aware of this and ask them to dress according to the weather forecast. Bad weather does not constitute a valid reason for your cancelling a tour.
DISRUPTIVE BEHAVIOUR
City of Edinburgh Tours reserves the right to refuse participation in a tour to anyone who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs. We also ask that you do not bring alcohol to drink on the tour.
Anyone whose behaviour is disruptive or is spoiling the enjoyment of a tour for other tour participants will be asked to leave the tour. No refunds will be given should this happen.
MARKETING & PROMOTION
It is illegal to use any of our photos, logos or other promotional material without the prior permission from City of Edinburgh Tours. We will take strong legal action against anyone that uses material without prior consent.
